Kitchen A mixes pectin and sugar with water to be added to the gummy slurry in Kitchen B. Kitchen A features a load cell tank for accurate ingredient addition and heated tanks, pipes, and pumps for temperature control throughout entire system.

Kitchen B takes the pectin/sugar mixture from Kitchen A and adds more water, more sugar, and glucose syrup.

The Kitchen C contains a continuous cooker. This crucial piece of equipment rapidly cooks the gummy slurry to the correct temperature.

Kitchen D adds the final ingredients before depositing. This usually includes color, flavor, actives, and citric acid.

When the gummy slurry has been cooked correctly and had the correct ingredients added, it is ready to be deposited. The GT2400 depositor deposits 80 gummies with each depositing stroke.

The depositor can deposit up to 240,000 gummies per hour. A continuous kitchen configuration can supply the depositor with enough material to attain that speed. When ordering with a kitchen made for batch type processing, the overall system output will depend heavily on that kitchen configuration.
